Think of how great this can be. If all the Blough family, and those who are, in varying degrees associated with it, post their favorite recipes to this blog, we would have a vast resource of new meals to try and new tastes to savor.
There are a few ways you can get involved with this -
If you feel technologically savvy, sign up for a WordPress account (you don’t have to create a blog, there’s an option to just sign up for an account) and email me (Nicole) with the email address you used to sign up for the account (my email is nicole.hindes@gmail.com). I’ll add you to the blog – you’ll get an invitation in your email. WordPress is really, really easy to figure out and I can try my best help you if you need it. I
f you don’t want to take the time to sign up for your own account, there is a generic one that I can give you the log-in for. If you do want to create an account, go to www.wordpress.com/signup and follow the directions to create a username. If you don’t get the email to validate your account, check out your spam filter. If that’s a problem, just email me for the generic login I made for this blog.
If you’re not so technologically savvy email me your recipe, or mail me a copy of it and I’ll add it myself (in some cases, this will be ALOT easier for me). If you have digital photos of the finished product or something to go along with the recipe, send those to me too!
If you don’t want to post any your recipes (maybe because everyone has always told you that you’re an awful cook), you can just peruse the blog at your own pace. Try out everyone else’s recipes. You can also leave comments on the the recipes you try (or want to try) about how good the meal turned out or a slight twist to the recipe as written.
When you post a recipe, add a story about where the recipe came from or some interesting memory associated with it. Photos are also good because they’ll illustrate what the finished product will look like, or even some sort of difficult or quirky technique.
I hope you join in!
